ABOUT
Join ACU Online students, staff, and faculty as we engage this holiday season with intentional reflection and generosity. You are invited to participate in three unique opportunities that will help you attend to your personal well-being, spiritual formation, and generosity toward those in need.
WHAT WE DO
Winter Break Devotionals
Sign-up for a daily email during this winter break that draws your attention to God’s love for this world and desire to make all things right. In addition, engage in a “practice of presence” to encounter the world with greater attentiveness.Â
Spiritual Retreat
The holiday season brings no small amount of stress, chaos, busyness, and over-consumption. Watch as Dr. Ben Ries invites us to to slow down, breathe, and give close attention to our spiritual formation and life with God.
Giving Back
Whether you give your time, money, or other resources, seek out ways to see your neighbor as God sees them…as beautiful, worthy, and beloved children of God. Please share with us the good work you are doing in the community.

Giving Back
As we create space in our own lives for rest and reflection, we have the opportunity to respond with generosity towards those who do not currently have the luxury for such space. Find ways this holiday season to give back to those in your community who are struggling with hunger, poverty, injustice, or being disenfranchised. This may be a local food pantry, homeless shelter or ministry, or organization that addresses issues of poverty. Whether you give your time, money, or other resources, seek out ways to see your neighbor as God sees them…as beautiful, worthy, and beloved children of God.
We would love to hear about your involvement in service and generosity over this holiday season. Press the button below to share with us the name of the organization and how you were involved (time volunteered, money donated, etc.). To be clear, this is not an effort to brag or boast. Rather, we often lose sight of the collective good we do in this world as it is easy to miss the power of a community that comes together for the sake of human flourishing. Please share with us the good work being done in your community.
